WASHINGTON D.C.— Today, the BUSA Herald offered the most extensive coverage of these congressional elections. The Herald has posted more than 20 tweets in less than 30 minutes (during the release of results) and more than 40 tweets during the start of the campaigns. It has published 16 projections.

The BUSA Herald has projected a Democratic majority in the House with 10 blue seats and 5 red seats. With a total of 94 votes, 64 went to the Democratic party and 30 to the GOP. Chris Scott (D) is the most voted candidate.

The elected congressional candidates are: Chris Scott (16 Votes), Katherine Malraux (9 Votes), Erika Hohenzollern (7 Votes), Cordelia Spencer (7 Votes), Harvey Galloway (6 Votes), Anthony Laurence (6 Votes), Hee-young Kim (6 Votes), Lucas Hill (5 Votes), Klarissa Miller (5 Votes), Jake Williams (5 Votes), Austin O’Donnell (5 Votes), James Frazer (5 Votes), Michael Wilkson (3 Votes), James Maxwell (3 Votes) and Robert Miller (3 Votes).

There has been an increase in the Republican vote, possibly because of dual citizenship. Despite the disinformation given by the media bought by political parties, people have voted similar to what they voted last time. There have not been many changes.

Most of the candidates have already shown their gratitude to the citizens for being elected.

I am eternally grateful to the citizens of BUSA for putting their trust in me to serve the in Congress. I will be publishing the universal healthcare bill the first day in congress. Congratulations to those who got a seat, commiserations to those who missed out. I will always work for partisanship in the capitol.

— Cordelia Spencer (D)

Mrs. Spencer is “eternally grateful” to be able to be at the 4th BUSA congress. Her main goal is to present the Universal Healthcare Bill.

Today was an overall pleasant day, but I will say I find it quite interesting most republicans had high votes even if some didn’t make it. The democratic majority wasn’t totally surprising to me, but I think the next congress may just get a republican majority, since the GOP had enough candidates this year so who knows what’ll happen in the next year or so.

— Hee-Young Kim (R)

Hee-young Kim is positive about the results. He believes that in the next election there could be a Republican majority.

FIRST DECISIONS

Democrats may continue to block dual citizenship, although we have spoken to several Democrats who personally support it. In addition, majority leader has introduced a bill to shorten the time length to swear in the 4th congress, this bill would enact that they would be sworn in as soon as monday. There will be more information on what is happening at the congress very soon.
